The Galleries are located on the first and second floor. Their wide open spaces allow very flexible displays for installation arts, sculptures, new media, etc. Mainly permanent and special exhibitions will be held here.

‘만권당’은 고려충선왕이 원나라 연경에 세운 독서당으로
만권당에 모여든 학자들은 학술뿐만 아니라 예술, 골동(骨董) 등에 걸친 광범위한 활동으로 원나라 문화교류의 중심적인 구실을 하였습니다.
뿐만 아니라 대구시 달성군 화원읍 인흥리에 있는 남평 문씨(南平文氏) 집안에도 ‘만권당’이 있는데,
이는 일제강점기 남평문씨의 독자적인 자녀교육을 위해 세워진 문고가 지금까지 이어지고 있는 것입니다.
이러한 역사적인 의미를 지닌 ‘만권당’을 문화적인 관점에서 재해석하여 시민과 예술가들이 교류할 수 있는 아트플랫폼으로 지속시키고자 합니다.

Art Information Center consists of Public Relations Room where culture and art information and archived materials can be seen at a glance and the Reference Room where collected editions of domestic and foreign artists, exhibition books, serials, and multimedia materials can be surfed.
